Two August pleasures: tomatoes on great white bread with salt. That's a not so guilty pleasure. I like mayo on this sandwich, but I like it even better without the mayo so the tomato juices can infuse the bread with all that flavor.
Grilled Goat Cheese with Applewood Smoked Bacon (Nueske's. I LOVE it.) and August Tomatoes.

Guiltier pleasure--and what you make when you think there's nothing in the house for lunch.

You KNOW how I feel about mayo, but I would make an exception for a BLT on white toast with a little (a LITTLE) mayo. I must admit, though, your goat cheese/bacon/tomato combo sounds even better. And it's g-r-i-l-l-e-d. Nice!
Those beefsteaks are gorgeous.
WOW! That looks amazing!
You're right - kraft slices are not cheese. I love how you used goat cheese. And the size of your tomato slices just draw the mouth in!
